would 500fsb cpu work in 800fsb MB?

Will this celeron D 331 which is 500 front side bus cpu work to update bios on ga-g33m-ds2r which is 800 / 1066 / 1333 front side bus mother board?
 
celeron d 331 N/A on top it says Fx = Since BIOS Version OK = Test OK! N/A = Not support "-" = Under Testing
does anyone think itll at least boot to bios? i know 800fsb cpu will throttle down to 500fsb if is was otherway around. what will happen if i try 500cpu on 800mb?
 
Wow. I didn't even read the list. I didn't even notice the N/A on the side. Figured, if it's on the list, it's okay. Stupid me.

It might, but I don't know, since I don't know the voltage and power requirements of those old chips, but they list some P4 500's, so maybe. Or it might just give you the CPU error code.
