My current specs are Ryzen 3900x, GB Aorus Master motherboard, 4x 8gb GSkill 3200mhz ram, RX 6800 gpu.
The system mostly runs fine, but I don't like Gigabyte's software, specially for controlling the case fan, chipset fan becomes dusty and loud at times.

I have a 5950x and an Asus Dark Hero in my hand now, wondering if I should upgrade or return them?
Asus BIOS and software better that GB's?

Hi,

The 5950x and Dark Hero are great. Why would you return them? The 3900X doesn't perform there. And still fetches a great price used to off-set. You bought them so you wouldn't have if you didn't either get a deal or unless you truly needed the upgrade and were desperate, or maybe you just got lucky and didn't know what to do?

I would take an ASUS board over GB board at this point. GB has just not been doing things to a high level lately.

But if all of this is just because of a board change....
