Worth upgrading my graphics card?

I have an ATI All-In-Wonder Pro 8Mb AGP card running on a Duron 800@1005 with 384Mb RAM, etc, etc. I don't play many games (apart from Tetris ;-) ) but do use the computer for Office apps, database, web surfing, web design and playing MP3 music (often all at the same time!). Would I see any benefit from upgrading to a new graphics card?

I would say probably not. Although 8MB is pretty small these days, but then again you don't play games, so probably not. 😉

you might see a slight improvement in 2d quality ... it all depends on how much you are willing to pay for it... i do remember upgrading my old matrox millenium ii to a tnt and my web speed (over cable) seemed to like double because it would display so much faster but ur card is a lot newer than that... it would be hard to say...

Doesn't sound like you are stressing that card out at all. you probably would not see any improvement with the apps you mentioned.

I say no. A card with the features of an AIW (like a different AIW) with more memory would cost $100+. That's pricey for little or no improvement in what you do. Then again, being a broke teenager might have skewed my perspective a bit.

Cheers guys! I was kind of hoping that would be your response. I think I will save my money and put it towards something else!
