isnt the 295 > 560 in most games still? (just more power and no dx 11) when you had the 2.0ghz cpu that is what made games stutter not the gtx 295

Do you think you need to upgrade? Thats the first question you should be asking. Only upgrade if you aren't satisfied with your 295s performance.

Actually a gtx295 should be about equal to a 6970/gtx570/gtx480, easily.

What doesn't even have 1gb?
The 295. Out of ram issues were reported back then with older games. Whats newer games going to do with it on high resolutions.

They run hot theyre need a lot of juice. It will be the same as choosing one of the 1366 cpus over the new SB ones. You feel like you took a step backwards.

Fermi 400 and HD 5000 was the start of double the recources than previous generations. Ill rather get a 580 its a lot quieter as well. those 295 makes a lot of noise

You're right. I always thought the gtx 295 had 1.2 GB of memory, but it has less than 900 MB now that I look. Hrmm.

5750 stays in the other system.

For the games you listed, there's almost no need for you to upgrade.

The 295 is still a beastly card. Here's a comparison between it and the 5970, the most powerful single-card solution right now. It fairs quite well even in some of the more demanding games.

I'd honestly wait until both AMD and Nvidia release their 28nm cards before upgrading. The process shrink should allow for some massive performance improvements. At that point there'll be something worth upgrading to. Oblivion and Fallout should definitely last you until those games come out.
