isnt the 295 > 560 in most games still? (just more power and no dx 11) when you had the 2.0ghz cpu that is what made games stutter not the gtx 295
gtx590 from Asus ( dual gtx 460's) would be a good upgrade or a gtx 595 (dual gtx 580), within the next month ,should be a great upgrade. About 2x the fps as a gtx295.
Nvidia hasn't announced a GTX 590 or GTX 595.
The 295. Out of ram issues were reported back then with older games. Whats newer games going to do with it on high resolutions. What doesn't even have 1gb?

They run hot theyre need a lot of juice. It will be the same as choosing one of the 1366 cpus over the new SB ones. You feel like you took a step backwards.
Fermi 400 and HD 5000 was the start of double the recources than previous generations. Ill rather get a 580 its a lot quieter as well. those 295 makes a lot of noise
Thats funny, mabe they are sneak attacking you, the gtx595 will release in 23 days. Don't ask.
