Hey I have a Asus v6800 Geforce 32mb DDR and am thinking about buying a Radeon 64mb DDR VIVO and am wondering is it worth the upgrade? How much faster will it make games play and look and me on a 15" montior(which I dont want to upgrade right now)

I also have a DXR3 that I can dump if I got one. Also is there a way to record movies to VHS or TV shows to computer? If so how? Also how would I hook the sound up from my PC to the VCR?
 
it depends on what kind of games you are playing though. ATI will probably look better, but only if the games support all the features.

IMHO, it's probably better to get a bigger/better monitor instead of getting a good video card and stuck with a small/old monitor. you just can't enjoy it.

The Asus cards came with digital VCR software, which you can use it to record of VHS or TV... but of course you'll need enough HD space and a fast enough HD to handle that.

 
well my montior aint too old I mean the quility on it is good. Reason I dont want to upgrade it is because I would have to buy a new desk as the one I have now only holds a 15".
