Worth it corsair to seasonic?

But you need to figure-in the Corsairs efficiency curve... I generally idle around 99w and this is out of the 90% efficiency range but not by much. The power that comes from the Seasonic X 650 is clean and has very low ripple. There is a 750w out there, I forgot which, that has numbers better than the Seasonic... and it was a recent model that came out.. can't think of which it is.. :\

Try-out one of those Appliance load testers to see where you idle at...

I don't know much about the Corsair so I can't say go for the Seasonic but I recently sold an Enermax Revolution 950w and finally installed my Seasonic X 650w and I'm glad I did 🙂

Got a new seasonic 750 x gold series psu. Installed it, and the buzzing is gone. Pc is completely silent now....

hate to rain on the parade but the 650w Seasonic has a better efficiency curve - i think it's 90+% from 135w - 588w

none-the-less congrats on a fantastic PSU! 🙂

Actually I did the exact upgrade from my 620HX to X650, Corsair is very solid psu if your isn't dying not sure you want to spend that money. I got the Seasonic for good deal and it is very reliable. One of the thing about Corsair 620HX is that the modular cable are so hard not flexible compare to the Seasonic X650. Managing cables with the Seasonic is much easier IMO.

Isn't the new Corsair AX750/850 based on the Seasonic X-series? You might as well get those cuz they're cheaper.
