Total price difference including credit card pts: $50

Will try to OC to modest increase. My case has bad air flow.

of course get the EVGA for that price difference. where do you people keep seeing these high priced TOP cards? on newegg they are just 10 bucks more than the non top ASUS Direct CU card.

what case do you have and what does the rest of your pc look like including power supply and resolution you want to play at?

Honestly if you are choosing between these only then go on price. Either one will be great.

If your case has bad air flow then definitely go for the EVGA. I myself ordered the EVGA FTW as I prefer closed, reference designs.

That doesn't say anything really...Custom PCB doesn't really mean much unless you're doing some sort of mod and it happens to be easier. The 680 PCB is very good on its own.

honestly, it just looks like it'd be easier to put some exotic cooling on the asus card, aside from that...dunno.

Nvidia 6xx series do not need help in the cooling department so what I am suggesting is buy a reference card and just OC it. As Quoted from benchmarkreviews.com "NVIDIA's Kepler architecture yields a much more efficient operating GPU compared to previous designs. This becomes evident by the extremely low idle temperature, and the modest loaded temperature. What's even more impressive than these results is how quiet GeForce GTX 680 operates, barely changing levels from silent to almost silent as it reaches full load. Even with an open computer case exposing the video card, it's difficult to hear the blower fan make any noise at all."

the 670 reference cooler is a bit noisy according to many people. it seems to have an annoying sound even at idle.

The FTW card uses the 680 PCB design making it a stronger overclocking card. Plus the benefit of the 680 cooling fan, thus a quieter card.

The thing that pushed me to buy it (the FTW - just now) was the thought of selling off my old GTX 480 to absorb some of the price.
