Worst you've ever done on a midterm?

As a percentile of the class, or I guess if that's not possible, the raw score is fine.

I just got one back today in a math class, out of 150 points, mean was 112, std dev. of 23, and I got a 72..which was in the bottom 10th percentile of the class.

I don't think I've ever gotten below the median on any exam before, so it was quite a humbling experience needless to say.

And no it wasn't a spider exam, I don't care how you did on your spider exam, and there weren't any spiders on the test

Edit: I guess I'll actually answer the question. I once got a 30 on a Discrete Math exam last spring - I don't know what percentile that was, but I seem to remember that a 45 would have been a B (out of 100, mind you). There were only nine people in the class anyway.

Wasn't a midterm, but I got a 40/100 two weeks ago on an Econ Test. Worst grade I ever got in college. It sucked.

But everyone else did poorly, so I think she's gonna throw us a curve. W00t!

As a percentile of the class, the worst I've done is probably still in the top 60-70th percentile. As a raw score...heh...probably in the 20's, from that insane pchem class that got curved like crazy.

Walked out without writing anything down. Midterm was entirely on "The Joy Luck Club", and I hadn't read it. I got a B in the class.

I blew off a term paper once that was worth 25% of my grade.

I ended up getting an A in the class, though... the professor assumed that he lost the paper and just calculated my grade without the term paper factored in.

27% avg was a 19%. Ended up with an A in teh class.

didnt know we had a exam that day and got a 5% but average was 8% ended up with an AB for that class too (1st semester pchem)

I got 39% once, and I don't remember what the avg. was, but it was so low that the teacher majored the notes and I ended up with 79%!

i think the lowest i got was 12 out of 100 or 150 once. this was for some CS class at college. regardless, it was low. surprisingly, i did better on a physics midterm that i walked in on unexpectedly one day. i hadn't gone to class for a week or two before that. yea, i wasn't the best student in college.

last quarter in physics..

average was a 50%

i got a 40 something % on the final :/

i thought I was gonna do fairly well too...doh.

I got a 37 out 100 on an Econometrics midtem(basically using calculus to forcast economic conditions - but I may be wrong - note the 37).

The scary part is I was 5-10 points above the median and still got a B.

32, which would have caused me to instantly fail the class. The professor was nice and creatively re-graded the midterm to a 47. I passed the course with a D-.

Man, what a semester.
