Worst week of my entire life...

...I've had the worst week, and it doesn't look like it's ending anytime soon...

Here's a breakdown...

Thursday: Went to work, when I cashed out I was short $20.00. I remembered a co-worker having a extra ticket for the same amount I was short. So he stole $20.00 from me.

Friday: Was a decent day...

Saturday: Went to work in the RAIN. No, not small drops, big huge drops of rain. Had to work in the rain. Then I lose a check a customer paid with. So now I have to pay $40.00 out of my own pocket to cover it.

Sunday: Mom supposedly hands me a $50.00. I look in my wallet (which contained only $8.00 before I put the bill she gave me in). I open my wallet to give my friend to money, and there's a $10.00 in there. So now I'm short $40.00 and my mom thinks I'm trying to con her out of another $50.00.

Monday: My g/f and I broke up two days after we made a year. And today isn't looking very good either...

Oh yah, to ChrichtonsGirl, PM me, you won my "worst" day thread that I posted awhile ago. Thanks!

That'll take my mind off of it for a day. But I'm looking for a permanent cure to end my bad streak. :(

Gosh, is it so hard to want a good day?! :|

I'd say just ride it out because it will be over soon enough and you'll be wondering why you were so worried about crap that really isnt that important.

'cept the gf thing, thats more important than the money. but thats not that hard to fix, just find someone cool to hang out with to get your mind off the ex, and who knows where it may lead. not dwelling on ex's helps, I broke up recently with a girlfriend of 2 years that I've actually known since like 4th grade and it sucked for a while but you'll get over all this crap

Thanks for the words. I know I'll live. But it just sucks so much.

I know you've all had days/weeks like this. :(

I'll top you. I'm about to go to a doctor's appointment that's it's taken three months to get. He's supposed to tell me if I have type 1 or type 2 rhuematoid arthritis and begin looking at treating it. It's an autoimmune disease that there's no cure for yet. I have days where I can barely walk between classes in college, my hands are already showing the effects of this visibly, I have trouble managing stairs... And I'm 18 years old and get to look forward to this for the rest of my life. Today's appointment might tell me a bit more about how bad this will get how fast. I've been dating a great guy for almost a year but with this on the horizon, I don't know if it's fair to keep going out with him - I can't imagine sticking him with this problem for life and I don't date casually. Topped your week.

Sorry, had to have the chance to let that spill. I don't know anyone at my school who'd listen to me whine like that. On the net, no one has to read it. :) Life's still good though, through all that. I've got an awesome family and my bf and I will be friends no matter what. I figure God can take care of things from here because I certainly can't.

Oh my, HotChic... I'm so sorry to hear that. :( :(

I can't imagine what that must be like. I have an acquaintance who suffers from Chrohn's disease and he's only 19 too. So basically, his body is aging at an abnormally fast rate. Like rheumatoid arthritis, there isn't a cure for Crohn's but he takes drugs and goes through physical therapy and seems to lead a normal life, which includes having girlfriends. Like him, you're already diagnosing it early and seeking treatment which is key to stopping it from taking over your life.

As far as your relationship is concerned, I could see how you would feel you are "holding back" your bf and wonder why he'd want to stay in the relationship. But I think you should keep it in perspective that this disease is only one factor that complicates a relationship, not one that should end it. I mean, whether you have arthritis or not, aren't you the same person that your bf fell in love with and is committed to? Just a thought.

Damn, I agree this tops myztkal's week by far!

Sorry to hear about your woes. Last week seemed to be a rough week for everyone, including myself. I had tests up the wazoo and managed to piss off (or so it seemed) all the people I'm asking letters of evaluation for. I was supposed to get a checkup for diabetes on Friday morning at 7:30 AM but no one was in the office. Saturday was decidedly better, I got my LSAT results back by phone and managed to get in the 95th percentile (woohoo!). This week - proceed with caution.

Oh yes I'm at rock bottom right now.

I need a new job...the current one isn't cutting it (i work at Pizza Hut)...

...i don't need a g/f. I have girls that are friends which is more than enough for now...

Hopefully my week will be better...

Want to talk about rough times ? Boy I was an expert at that .. I lost three grandparents ... a greatgrandparent .. and my dad .. in a three year period .. none of them died quick .. they were all sick for quite a while .. it was soooo hard ... especially losing my dad ... I'm not saying this to down grade either of your bad things going on .. I know they are rough ... but look around at the people you love .. and if they are still there .. then know that that is the most important thing .. because with your family and support system of friends .. you can make it through bad times and bad days .. and weeks or years of bad.
