Speaking of the Smashing Pumpkins, they always have one bad D'Arcy or James Iha sung POS per album.

Yeah, I'll agree. Also, the two Machina albums were both nearly unmitigated disasters.

Beastie Boys - Brass Monkey

Thats a song? hehe, I hear that song at least once a day at work on 101.9 in NYC. But I dont think its a bad song from a great group. Beastie Boys, while I dig them, are not GREAT and most of their stuff is campy fun music.

Yes, Radio GaGa is crap but Bicycle is classic Queen man! While on the subject of Queen, Flash Gordon is just the worse song EVER great group or not, that song and movie just makes me want to vomit.

Agreed on Paul Revere. Brass Monkey sounds tons better.

I thought Radio Gaga was horrible until I saw the live version at Live Aid. There was something wonderful about that version.

Other considerations:
Stevie Wonder - Part Time Lover or I just called to throw up
Genesis - Congo
Yes - Love will find a way
Cheap Trick - The Flame
Jefferson Airplane/Starship - Anything after they dropped Jefferson
Chuck Berry - My Ding-a-ling
REM - Stand (I actually like SHP over this one because of Kate)
Aerosmith - The one from Armageddon
Beatles - Let's do it in middle of the road (or something like that).

That's "Joy to the World" and yes, it stinks as a song.

That song always reminds me of a bunch Christians singing around a camp fire. Probably because I remember doing that in the 70s at camp. I'm not Christian but I recall a bunch of kids where and they were all holding hands and singing that song. Ug.

for me, it would have to be the new ozzy. never gonna stop. ive been an ozz fan for decades, even the questionable stuff he did over the years wasnt able to make me change the station. i cant stand the new songs, i turn the station whenever i hear them now. retire already.

Sonic Youth - Sugarcane (obvious attempt at radio hitdom)
Tool - Crawl Away - (the most uninspired, obvious, and trite lyrics of any Tool song)
Pink Floyd - anything past The Wall is NOT by Pink Floyd, should not be considered Pink Floyd, yet is titled PF and loved by the can't-let-go PF fans, i.e. anything on Momentary Lapse, Division Bell, etc.

Roger Waters was not Pink Floyd.

We're gonna have to agree to disagree.

let's see..founding member, is the primary genius behind the albums that made them most successful. Gilmore is great, and I think essential to what PF was, and he still doesn't get the credit he deserves form Meddle on.

Honestly...PF was Sid Barrett. why do people bitch about PF only being PF during the DSoTM-Wall years? rubbish. Their best freaking album is all about them losing what they once were.

That being said, I still like Momentary Lapse of Reason. Wright and Mason were founding members. why discredit them?

for all the hardcore PF fanatics that hate anything after The Wall, why don't they scream love and admiration for The Final Cut? that's a raging Waters hard-on right there. Should be your magnum opus, no?
