Man your nutts.
Independence Day is one of the best films made in the last 20 years or so. Easily in the top 25 or so.

You are kidding yourself. Top 25? No way.
Maybe in box office sales, but it wouldn't be in the top 100 of top-rated movies of all time.

Without a doubt the worst movie I've ever seen is "Eyes Wide Shut". A close second is "The Omega Code" (can't believe they made an "Omega Code 2")

Some of you folks need to expand your horizons, start with these movies:

Body Shop, The (1973)
Drainiac! (2000)
Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure (2003)
Dark Waters (2004)
The Bloodsucker Leads The Dance (1975)
Slave of the Cannibal God (1978)

Ghost Ship started well and turned into a major stinker; ditto for Cabin Fever, but it's watchable; the finely crafted The Village also falls victim to the 'sucky ending syndrome'.

I think the worst recent movie was Starsky & Hutch, a comedy drama parody with neither comedy nor drama.

Most of the really bad ones have been purged from my memory

Meet Joe Black.

Others may be funny only because of cheesiness, but at least they are good for a laugh. Meet Joe Black just drags on, and on, and on, and on....

If this worthless thread is going to be constantly bumped, can the OP please edit the first post so it looks like you've had a 5th grade education at some point?

I have read through 12 pages of text and have only seen Leonard part 6 listed 3 times.....

That has got to be the worst movie I have ever seen. Enough with the listing 4 or 5 movies, PICK ONE!

I can't believe Leonard part 6 only got 3 mentions, and out of that, only one person made a reference to Bill Cosby in a Tu-Tu. I am forever cursed with then memory of him in the tu-tu riding an Ostrich.

I heard (after I saw the movie of course) that Bill Cosby tried to buy the whole movie after it was filmed so that he could have stopped its release. I only wish that he had offered more money (I bet he wishes that too....).

The Ring was the absolute biggest waste of time I ever spent watching a movie. Apart from making absolutely zero sense, it wasn't scary or suspenseful at all, just pompous and idiotic.

Also, 2001: A Space Odyssey. I like a lot of Kubrick's work, and looked forward to seeing this movie, but it was just awful. The absolute most boredeom inducing movie I have ever seen. Plus, the ending was rushed and awful. I sat through two and a half hours of movie to see a freakin' space baby? Unacceptable.

Dr. Otto. It starred Jim Varney before he became Ernest P. Worell. Ugh, it was horrible.

Another vote for elephant. They just tried too hard to make this some obscure movie. It made no sense (cut to black guy who is scene running out of a class and down a hall for 2 minutes only to get shot at point blank range, I don't even think he said 1 word).

I did like the cinematography though.

John Carpenter's Vampires: Los Muertos (the 2nd Vampires movie, not the first)

Lost in Translation (didn't see the point of the movie, didn't find it very funny either)

If you have ever visited Japan or lived here, you could appreciate the movie much more. My wife and I thought it was hilarious partially because we could relate to their experiences.

Agreed....Cradle was a HORRIBLE movie. :(
