Chillis has the worst service ever and their food is awful. Bennigans and Applebees are the same restaraunt AFAIK and both also have lousy food. Fridays is overpriced and the food sucks but the service is usually pretty good.
The only one of the restaraunts on that list I would willingly go to is Olive garden. I also like red lobster, but find it odd that my date and I are always the only two white people in there.

Johnny Rockets. I been to 3 locations in different areas and the service is all the same. Slow and worthless.
I have a strong suspicion that Applebee's reheats/cooks some of their food in a microwave. I've done this to meat & it gets really stringy. In the same way, if I order steak or ribs, it comes to the table like this. Their cheese looks reheared too. It can't seem to fully melt, even while on top of a steaming hot french onion soup.
Of those on the list I vote Applebees as I've never enjoyed a visit. Thankfully, I've only been once or twice but I think it is a horrible deal for what you get and the atmosphere is too canned. I vote independent with my gullet when I have a choice!

Okay, that is out of my system. Really though, there are tons of non-chain restaurants to go to so why go some place you know is bad?
I'm not really a fan of mid-class restaurant chains. I prefer my local diner and/or bar/grill. (Chickie and Pete's for example)

I don't really go to that many, but McDonalds is pretty bad in my book. Not that they usually have any quality issues, but their food just tastes terrible compared to most burger places, and their portions are incredibly small.

Applebees is good in my area. Not great, but good, and the service is usually pretty decent, since I know a portion of the staff.
In the list, I'd have to pick Olive Garden. Back when they first opened, it was a nice place to go to, and the food was pretty good. Now AverageJoe can walk in there with shorts and a ripped T-shirt, while AverageJane comes in with barely any clothes on, and it's considered normal. On top of that, their food quality went to the shitter. Everything I order there is always cooked horribly, tastes bland, etc. etc.
The only thing good there is their bread sticks, now.
I give Fridays my biggest thumbs up from the list. They've always done their food right, and they've got awesome, tasty platters.
The worst chain by far, which was not listed, is IMO Dennys. I'd rather eat dogsh!t. It'd taste better, and my dog could crap bigger portions out of his ass than a "cook" at Dennys would make you. WORST. PLACE. EVER.
