The design was flawed, however the thinking behind buying a three-wheeled car was to benefit from a loophole in UK vehicle licensing and tax:

The van version used in Only Fools and Horses made the Robin famous in the UK:

That was a Reliant Regal

I'd say we got them both spot on.

Google Jaguar e-type, and Aston Martin DB5.

As for freedom, we don't have rampant gun crime and I'm free to say do or think what ever I want. Win.

Just as long as there are 3 cameras on you at one time.
Oh yeah, not all of us live in Detroit.
And the Europeans and Americans had to bail your car industry out by buying them.

marked for when i get back on land.

I'm trying to find this news/info on this other 3-wheeler racer coming back to the market. It's an old car, but someone's bringing it back with a modern engine. Saw it on TCL awhile back..

I never mentioned any kind of bail out so I don't really understand the relevence of that reference, What's wrong with CCTV cameras?

You may not live in detroit but you are still a LOT more likely to get shot than I am.

yup that's the one. I just really dig the design.. it somehow looks great. I can't explain why.

It looks great because it's a classic design, and it's distinctive. If you took the badges off a modern car, you'd be hard pressed to tell who made it. They're mostly one boring copy after another.
