Worst boxed wine on which you've ever been drunk?

I'm spending TG with a couple of friends, who for whatever reason, buy the shittiest boxed wine every year.... And no one ever drinks the piss, until a select few have blown through their offerings and there's nothing left.

I've been guilty of drinking it, I'm afraid. The hangover is not to be believed.

What's the worst you've had?

Also,

Jugged wine is an acceptable medium for this thread.

If you were to ask me, ALL wine tastes like shit (to me).

And those POS box ones seem better than "the overly expensive for no apparent reason, that still taste like shit" wine

You see? TO ME, wine sucks no matter what.

Franzia is awful. I once inherited a box of the stuff, only used it for cooking.

There is actually a lot of decent boxed wine on the market today though.

Black Box is the worst hangover I've had... but probably because it wasn't too bad to drink that I drank it all. We poured the whole box into a decanter and away we went.

I drink boxed wine all the time. There's some pretty decent stuff out there.

Franzia. shit's delicious. you gotta take it out of the box, have someone hold it up, slap the bag, and then chug away

I'm in your same boat. It's a terrible way to get drunk, it gives you bad hangovers and it tastes like grape juice left out in the sun for a week. Before anyone chimes in with "But have you tried this classy piss? It's so much better than that low class piss you must have been drinking!" I have tried expensive wine, champagne, red wine, white wine, desert wine etc and it all tastes bad. Just give me a beer and stop telling me about your pathetic lives that revolve around drinking bad grape juice.

Damn apparently I've been traumatized by wine. I swear being white and disliking wine is right up there with saying you voted for obama the second time for most likely things that cause a room of white people to consider you a weirdo.

Uhh...drinking spoiled barley juice is somehow better?

I buy, make, and enjoy both beer and wine. If you don't like it, that's fine, but it's a little silly to drink one type of massively popular alcoholic beverage but look down on people who drink the other.

Wine is great, just not great for getting drunk on. Many of the 'refined' taste alcohols are horrible to get drunk on. If you want to get drunk, drink beer, or cheap spirits and plenty of fluids.

I have never ever seen boxed wine, though. I have seen a bag of wine, in a box, in a refrigerator, in the kitchen, in the corner house, deep at the bottom of America.

As low cost table wines go, there are some which are perfectly fine, particularly genuine Aussie Shirazes -as opposed to factory blended swill which which may well be bottled. Surely the main reason more is not bagged/boxed is merely perception. Afterall, it does not make sense to ship glass bottles long distances and then recycle them as opposed to reuse. An even more subtle distinction is betwixt traditional and synthetic corks, and metal caps. Again, metal is the most practical yet still seen as the least desirable. Cork is clearly the worst while synthetic solves most of its problems while still retaining traditional appeal.

Mad Dog 20/20...we used to drink that in high school. High alcohol, low cost. Also an option is Thunderbird.
