Worst bad beat possible in Texas Holdem

i just took is the worst beat possible post flop. can anyone top it? NOPE

Me : Qd Qh
Him: Js Jc

1-2 NL. I make it 7 to go preflop, he re-raises me to 15. I call. Flop is

flop: 4c Qs 2h

I check, he bets pot, i raise all in for 200 total. he calls

turn : Jh

River : Jd

this is more of insane odd switching then just a bad beat but this just happened to me

i am dealt JJ

flop is 789

someone goes all in and they didnt have much so i matched them

they had 99

turn is a 10 so my straight beats their trips

river is a..................................9

Having four aces on the flop get beat by a runner runner straight flush is about the worst beat i can think of.

Possible, and has happened before - I was player 2. Unraised pot in my BB, flop the nut straight, turn the absolute nuts, and bust a guy with quads. A friendly reminder about why you always raise preflop with AA. :thumbsup:

I had a friend that flopped 4 of a kind Kings (other card was a 2), to be beaten by 4 of a kind Aces on the river. Only reason I beleived it was I was there.

In last year's WSoP, someone flopped 4 of a kind and got his opponent to go all in with a bigger hole card pair, but lost the hand when the other guy drew 4 of a kind too. Same odds as your outdraw.

To get to one card on the river to win, he first had to catch one of two cards on the turn to even stay alive. (2/45)*(1/44)=.001% chance of winning on the flop. It went up to the 2.5% you mentioned after he caught a J on the turn.

Yes there can. You need 5 cards for a straight flush, and 4 cards for a 4 of a kind. There are many different ways to get that.
