Their articles are never really that great but, are they running out of crap to write about? WTF is this "controversy" they are talking about?
One of the best things about PC controllers is that there IS a great variety to choose from!
You need more buttons? You don't like the button layout? You think your current d-pad sucks? Knock yourself out!
This may actually be the worst thing I have ever read!
It can take days or weeks to become fully comfortable with a new gamepad and a different layout of buttons and other inputs.
Uhhh...okay. I don't have that problem. Do any of you?
Although it is frustrating every time they buy a new gamepad, they are used to this norm
Yeah, it's hell going through this when I buy my new weekly gamepad.

How many gamers who own both kinds of systems would love to be able to unplug their gamepad from their PlayStation 2 or Xbox, and plug it into their PC with little more than a driver and plug adapter?
Hello? McFly?
I know, a few readers right now are shaking their heads. In fact, on face value it seems a bit silly.
Nah, it's downright assinine. At least you can tell he partially realizes it in that quote! :D

This is not the controversy you are looking for...

Lo, how the mighty have fallen. I used to visit AVault on a daily basis to check for news and content, but lately, I surf there maybe once a week, and even then primarily just to check the current demos and patches.

Hahaha, too funny. I wish there was a gamepad like the PlayStation one though, I don't like 1 button DPads.

That's exactly my situation. If i even remember to go there it's to see what demos and patches are out. :(

I previously had a Gravis GamePad Pro until it died. It was made in the PSX gamepad shape and button layout. I liked it except that the d-pad sucked for a lot of games. It was too easy to hit the diagonals when trying to go in a straight line.

Now I use the Pelican Accessories PSX/USB adapter with my PSX controller. :D

It's pretty sweet. It's similar to the one in the McFly link above although I have no experience with the Soyo adapter. ;)

Obidon: Yea, that's what I have, but as you say the Dpad sucks. I prefer the 4 button Dpad on the Playstation controller, much more precise.

I've hated the Adrenaline Vault for a long, long time. About six years ago when I ran and wrote articles for a medium-sized multiplayer gaming website (this was nearly unheard of back then) I e-mailed their site admin to talk about exchanging links on our respective sites. Got an e-mail back a few hours later filled with typos basically entailing the guy laughing his ass off at the thought of associating with a website like mine. Pissed all over the site design and actually asked, "WTF do you think you're doing?"

Never been to their site since than day until now. Die, Adrenaline Vault, die.
