Well there was that cheap hooker in saigon.... big mistake there... but anyways.. got pulled over today at 3:15 am for going 47 in a 30 🙁 stupid ticket! didnt have insurance, was playing music, and eating.. 75 bucks down the drain... i had 4 incorrect insurance cards on me... but i got a "verbal warning" for that... i think he was just glad i was nice and not drunk... still sucked 🙁 it was funny as hell watchin him approach like i was a mass murderer 😀
 
Ouch. Good thing you dropped off the hooker on the previous corner though, that could have gone from bad to worse 😀

this is true.. funny thing is on the ticket.. it never shows a dollar amount... just how much over... and then an attached booklet had minor offenses, 21 mph over or more, and seat belt violations... so im assuming its 75 😀
 
Only a $75 dollar ticket? I got a ticket for that much for having a radiator hose blow up on me...
I don't understand how they got away with a $78 visible emissions ticket for a blown radiator hose, but they nailed me...
 
75 is pretty lucky.. let's see what mine were

145 for a "california roll" and if you don't know what that is, it's not stopping all the way at a stop sign..

165 for switching lanes too fast... (this was a lame move cuz i cut off a cycle cop... i didn't even see the bastard until it was too late) oh well
 
I got pull for speeding too, 35 on 25 zone then speed up (still very slow) to 55 on 40 zone.😎
Saw some Flashy lights, Cop pulled me over and I was like :Q F***, F*C*, **CK :Qcause at the time I have no insurence, no registration, low beem head lights fried and using high beems will minor adjustments.

Cop walked over and I gave the reguler 🙂"So..what's the matter officer? 🙂confused:but can't stop thinking no insurence = $$$$, no registration = $65 and can also get my card towed away, high beams ???, AHHH) But I kept it 😎

Cop 😛"nothing much, I'm just gonna give you a speeding ticket, can I see your driver license?"
Me, 🙂"sure here you go."

anyways to keep it short , gave me a speeding ticket:| and off he went😛, didn't check anything else. Lucky???

note: I took that route home most of the time, I was going slower than usual too🙁, normally I go up to 80mph, cause most cars go that fast most of the time anyways.




 
75 ???..even in USD funds, that's nothing, althought, like your title says, probably the worse 75 bucks you've ever spent, speaking for my brother (he's 16), i'm 18, 2 years, me,---> 1 ticket, 174 CND, him, less than a year, maybe less than 6 months ---> $345, $345, $115, then he got busted @ school with pot (what a dumbass), trying to pay them off, what a dumbass, (and I on the other hand, did talks to school's all over the province about exactly the opposite), anyways, he drives a prelude (2001), and myself a 93 bimmer....
but yea, man, no insurance up here would cost you automatic 600 bucks plus getting your car impounded on the spot...(very close to happening with a buddy of mine, luckily he was parked so he just had his car impounded)...

The thing with me and my bro, I race quite a bit, on the other hand, i don't let him, but whenever he seems to speed, he gets tickets...I speed, and the cops don't seem to care, and when i do get pulled over, i get warnings, (had about 10-15 warnings now)...

I have a rant about the cop that stopped me but I'll probably do that later in a new thread.

Dude...those are some pretty huge tickets. I used to do street racing but not anymore....and yet I still found myself with a $430 ticket yesterday.
 
Time for traffic school, Bob. It keeps those pesky points off your record, and therefore your insurance doesn't have an excuse to rape you.

If it's an option, you'll get something in the mail giving you the option to sign up. DO IT! Hell, it's just one four to six hour class.

Bob, trust me on this, in IL one speeding ticket can cost you hundreds, if not thousands in increased insurance over three years.

If it was just a matter of $75 I'd speed all the time 😛 It's the increased ins that kills you. :|

DON'T mail in the money yet! That closes the case, and puts the points on your record! Go to your local traffic court and find out if they offer traffic school. Do it first thing monday.
