They should do a list of "not what you expect" movies

Pearl Harbor would win that list. I thought it was going to be some awesome war flick. Instead it was a chick flick. Bastards.

Yeah dude, that pissed me off.

heh. out of that list i only watched Freddy Got Fingered and it was awful..........

When I saw that movie the first thing out of my mouth after about 5 minutes was "This is the worst movie I have ever seen." I've seen a lot of movies.

Battlefield Earth is pretty much a punching bag for critics and the general public alike when it comes time to list the worst movies evar.

Am I the only one that at least enjoyed it a little bit? It was kind of lame / cheesy, yes, but not *awful.* I would watch it again. I can think of MUCH worse movies that I've endured.

That said, no list of this type is complete without Adam Sandler's "Going Overboard" in one of the top spots. Holy crap was that terrible.

I watched it way back when it came out in theaters with some friends, for some reason I was the only one that thought it sucked majorly. I'm glad to know that most people seem to hate it

It was basically a movie about a Japanese surprise attack on an American love triangle.

I haven't seen a single one of those. Cabin Boy should be on there though.

Amazingly, Cabin Boy is much better than most of those. That list should also double as "Your Life will be Better if you DONT watch these movies".
Many of them actually leave you a little worse off just for having seen them.

Starship Troopers 2 is the only movie in the bottom 10 that I've watched, and I will agree that it pretty much was a horrible failure.
But, I've seen a decent number of movies that were even worse.

Also, on my screen, "Master of Disguise" is showing up in the bottom 50, that movie is funny enough that it should be nowhere close to the bottom 50 IMO.

I thought Troy and Cabinboy were both fairly entertaining. i mean, cabinboy has a giant floating cupcake that spits tobacco... come on!

Oooh yea .. Cabin Boy was indeed funny! Troy wasn't good ... but certainly not "worst of the worst 50 movies" type bad ....

Troy was good. I got it for a sweet deal on HD-DVD and the battle scenes look fantastic, and the acting was decent for an epic war type movie. Certainly not any worse than 300 or Kingdom of Heaven (I liked those also).
