When they start killing off characters that viewers care for like Tony Almeda, that's when older viewers of the show will lose faith.

To the newer viewers, they could care less as they don't know the history unless they've seen the DVDs.......

You know one thing I thought of is that maybe Tony's actor decided to unexpectedly leave the show for either personal reasons or a better offer elsewhere. That might explain his lame death as the writers scrambled to fit something into the plot.

I thought 5 was the worst because it had too many illogical things that I just couldn't ignore, the first of which was the whole gassing of CTU incident. C'mon, a guy who security has never seen in their life can just walk into CTU with a full access pass and no questions asked? I can suspend my disbelief because I like the show overall but sometimes they go too far.

Season 2 was my favorite. For some reason it felt like the most believable plot out of all of them.

Overall I'd say

2 > 1 > 4 > 3 > 5

I would mostly agree with these statements.

Except I think season 1 will be the best season just because it was the big kickoff, and the fact that Sherry Palmer has a role in season 2 is absurd. The only reason I don't make that comment about season 3 is because the annoying bitch gets shot.

I could make a page long list of the things that I really hate, and it wouldn't be hard, but I still love the show.
