Don't you CS vets hate being accused of cheating, especially without real evidence?

"You are 40-1, so you must be cheating"
"You got 2 head shots in a row, so you must be using aimbot"
"You knew where he was, you lame wallhacker"
"You killed me, so you must be cheating"
"You couldn't have seen me, so you must be cheating"
etc etc etc

And yes, I play on PunkBuster servers almost exclusively, to avoid cheaters. But I can't avoid the accusers :disgust:
 
ugh that is the worst, reason I don't play CS anymore. Anytime you do good they call you a cheater. It's so pathetic.
 
Anyone that seriously worries if someone calls them a cheater on a internet game and gets all worked up about it is the pathetic one. 🙂

I'd be worried if someone called me a squirrel molester, but not a cheater.
 
Welcome to the wonderful world of online gaming. It used to be just as bad in Quake3 Arena before everyone switched to CS...
 
Never played CS, but I do remember the good old days of Blood and Duke Nukem. People werent smart enough yet to create cheats. Now I play mechwarrior on the zone, cheaters are easy to spot.
 
best thing is to ignore them... seems like lot of them are "SET" in the mode so whatever u say will change their mind..

or stab their face with the knife over and over until they leave..
 
Those people are so annoying. I was 1-11, then got 4 kills in the next round because four guys were lined up right in front of me. They call me a cheater. WTF. Last time I checked cheaters don't go 5-12. Oh well.
 
Last week I was playing and was 8-1, the guy bitches, " your're wall hacking, you coulda never saw me there!" Then the rest of the other team follows suit. But when they began to win, so they didn't say anything.... 😕

Ahhh anyways, back to the thread.....I just play, I never read what anyone says, I just play and ignore the chatter. If I wanted to talk to a bunch of people I'd come here....if I want to kill stuff, I go there 🙂
 
I played with a guy for an hr, I was 40-20, he was 95-14, no way he was cheating, his aim was really good. He just knew where to be and how to shoot when running.
 
I just installed the anticheat plugin for admin mod the other day on all my servers. Now theres no doubt if anyone is cheating; every single cheat out there can be detected via punkbuster+anticheat plugin.
I've instructed all my admins not to ban anyone they suspect of cheating.
Also, 40:1 is easy if you play against n00b 😛
 
You should take it as a compliment if they call you a cheater since you're legit. You're skills must be way above theirs if they have to resort to cheater calling hehe.
 
Although I no longer play CS, here is a list of cheats that I have been accused of lately playing good ole Quake 2.

1. You're using a damage cheat aren't you?...you can absorb too much punishment.
2. You move too fast, you must be using a speed hack.
3. How come you never miss? You using a ratbot?
4. How come i hit you twice but you don't die, but you hit me once and i do die?
5. How could you possibly make that jump, that jump is impossible!!

Etc..etc..etc..

pb isnt updated anymore, there are a whole lot of cheaters, esp cheating clan (www.myg0t.com, some myg0t member spammed that url).

I don't cheat, tho i get accused of it many many times, never kicked though.

Whats a n00b accuser?
