Hi everyone. First the facts: Thinking of getting an MSI K8N Neo4 Ultra mobo ($210). Yes parts are rare and prices very high here in my country Pakistan. Only available ram is Kingston Value Ram CL3 DDR400, which looks like its double-sided. Now I have looked in the official thread for this mobo and some people said they could not get their double sided ram to work properly with the mobo. I could not make out whether this problem affects only those who put in 4 sticks of double sided ram or it will affect even if two double-sided 512 sticks are put in.
The other majot problem is that the best PSU I can find is rated 500W but has only 22A on the 12V line. 3.3V is rated 28A and 5.0V is 50A, with both 3.3V and 5.0V putting out 280W max together. Are these ratings esp. the 12V one good enough for a system with this mobo and a 6800 Ultra? Processor is A64 3000+ Winchester. And most importantly will it be capable of supporting next-gen graphics cards such as G70? I don't suppose a 6600GT would put too much load on it though. All with the usual SATA hdd, etc.
Your replies are appreciated!
