Worried About My Reputation (Political joke)

Dear Abby:

I am a crack dealer in New Jersey who has recently been diagnosed as a
carrier of the HIV virus. My parents live in a suburb of Philadelphia
and one of my sisters, who lives in Bensenville, is married to a
transvestite. My father and mother have recently been arrested for
growing and selling marijuana and are currently dependent on my other
two sisters, who are prostitutes in Jersey City. I have two brothers:
one is currently serving a non-parole life sentence in Attica for
murder of a teenage boy in 1994.The other brother is currently being
held in the Wellington Remand Center on charges of sexual misconduct
with his three children. I have recently become engaged to marry a
former Thai prostitute who lives in the Bronx and is still a part time
"working girl" in a brothel. Her time there is limited as we hope to
open our own brothel with her as the working manager. I am hoping my
two sisters would be interested in joining our team. Although I would
prefer they not prostitute themselves, it would get them off the
street, and hopefully, the heroin, too. All things considered, my main
problem is this: I love my fiancée and look forward to bringing her
into the family and I certainly want to be totally honest with her.
Should I tell her about my distant cousin who is French?

Signed,

Worried About My Reputation

:)

I knew there'd be a French Connection.

Honesty is always the best approach. You have to understand, that from a psychological perspective, the shame we feel about being French, a prostitute, an American, an economist, a lumberman, or any other form of rapist is that we once were human, as very very young children, and were forced to play these roles, on pain of death, just to survive. Our shame is that we violated our Godly nature to become the various forms of slime we feel we are and actually are because we carry those feelings. But, Because we can't and won't remember, we are catch 22ed in our roles. In the final analysis, the joke is on us, but we don't get it because we can't remember. We can only see it in the French, on whom we project our own condition. And all the rage in the world is because of the truth of this fact. Can you feel it toward me who knows you so well?

Still hating the french I see ... Or as MB would say, hating yourself. Does it help you to feel better pretending that you're somehow superior to an entire nation of people?

The French will always do exactly the opposite on what the United States wants regardless of what happens.

Am I pretending?

Who cares? Even if true, that's their right to do so. How does that justify the hate?

Who "hates" the French? I was showing them some "love" by posting a joke I found funny; sorry if you did not appreciate the joke as much as I did. I still love you, nevertheless. Perhaps, as Moonie would argue, your hatred for yourself is blurring your perception and what you see is actually not my hate, but your own hatred reflected back at you?

30 years ago that same joke had the punch line: "Works at Lockheed"

Was it because of that whole bribery thing? I guess "Enron" could be substituted too huh?

I most certainly would, but have a care you don't become too cleaver before your time. The way to see into others is to see into yourself.

It pre-dated the ANA Japanese bribery/kick-back issue by about 5 years.

It was in the days of the Nixon wage freeze and the 'Guarantee' of the aircraft to be
built was a face saving issue for Rolls-Royce to change the pricing structure on the
RB-211 engines that they had contracted to sell for $ 650,000 each - and the
production cost to make the engine was stable at $ 1.2 million per engine.

No money actually changed hands with the Government Loan Guarantee,
but we had to offer a clause that made it look as if one of our domestic
manufacturing conglomerates was not more financially sound than that of a
foriegn government and it's government subsidized manufacturer.

This is in the formative days of the AirBus consortium, and the engine in
question was one of the candidates for powering the AirBus product line.
(Back around 'Ought- 71')

Oh-oh you got me! ;) Yeah, my opinion seems to be invalidated quite often around here.

I should start a thread about flat-headed bean-counters who live/work/get drunk and piss on themselves in the D.C. area & see what kinda reaction that garners ... Ayn Rand is a complete tool anyhow, I mean if you need philosophical justification for not caring about your fellow man and are simple-minded, her books probably make a lot of sense.

Ayn Rand is just a titanic ego the result of a very hurt child. It's just a defense against pain. You don't have to read far to feel her anger. It's just another one of those things.
