i have 4 pairs of old levi's. wornout work pants.
totally worn thru in seat and knees.
they are threadbare and stained

when i was younger i would wear my jeans until they became so worn that i risked an indencent exposure charge.

i was going to donate them to local charity thrift store.
housemate says no one would want worn jeans, i say someone may want them to patch and wear.
should i use them for rags or should i donate them so some one can recycle them?

if they have holes on the ass and knees they're useless.
Just think of the money you need to pay someone to patch them etc.
it's more than the value of the average thrift pants I'd think.

Make cutoff shorts. Be sure to cut them short enough such that your ass cheeks hang out. It is a timeless fashion.
