Worms: Reloaded

pontifex

Today was the release day for Worms: Reloaded. I pre-ordered on Steam so I got to download and play it yesterday. I only played the tutorial levels yesterday and I played some Quick Games and campaign levels today.

There seems to be a lot I need to figure out, particularly how some of the weapons work. A lot of times I'll think I have a clear shot and end up blowing my own worm up because the rocket hits like the very end pixel of a ledge that I though the muzzle had cleared.

I played one quick game against the hardest difficulty and I lost half my team (2 worms) on the 1st opposing team's worm attack. It was crazy.

Single player campaign is pretty easy so far and they sort of vary it a bit with regular game modes and some puzzle type modes.

the AI can pull off some pretty damn amazing shots. like they'll bounce a grenade off the very edge of a piece or landscape, onto another piece of landscape, roll down a slope, launch off the bottom of the slope, bounce off another piece of landscape and land right on my worm's head.

That is an amazing shot!!

true, but other time they take out 2 or 3 of there own worms.

I remember playing Worms Armageddon back in the day. I got wicked good with the ninja rope, and tunneling under my enemies. Good times. Definitely going to check out this demo.

Everything IS JUMBO.. They should rename this to WORMS- JUMBO.

It's like large print books. ^_^
