Well I know other people have really bad bosses, but mine is the worst. Here's his latest gem.....

I'm working away as usual, when he comes over and gathers everyone in the department around him. It goes something like this:" As you all may or may not know, Peggy's (not her real name, he's married, this is his little girl-friend/secretary), ex-husband died recently and left her in bad financial situation. You know how much she does for this department (she does nothing) and I think to help her out we should all donate something to show our appreciation. I'll start it off with $50. You can all give the money to me....I'll make up a card you can all sign."

I was speechless. I can just see these two worthless jerks laughing as they count the money....But we're all in a bind. We know he'll jerk around anyone who doesn't fork over. Our annual review is coming up, raises are at stake. I gave $20...so did everyone else. This has got to be the lowest act any boss ever pulled on people under him.

Plus....I cannot go over his head to complain. The general manager is his good buddy. Crap. I still feel pissed, abused, robbed even. What a complete POS.

LOL! :D

I was going to pitch in about some of the crazy azz stuff a former boss did, but after reading the whole thing, your right, yours is worse. :Q

Probably used the money for a night out on the town. :|

BTW, is he married?

And is there a corporate office? What is their policy on manager/employee fraternization?

Might be time to play a little covert office politics. Anonymous letters with pics and proof can do wonders. ;););)

Of course, if he is removed, there is no guarantee that your next boss will be any better, especially since the general manager seems to like those kind of jerks. :Q

For some reason I got an image of you in oven mitts and an apron with a casserole dish in your hands.

The worst part of all this is she probably doesn't need the money. She's driving a new car...paid for by the boss. She's living in a fancy condo. She gave up the kid by her dead husband, to the guy's parents. What a woman.

And to think I had to give her $20.....ack.
