I saw Tina Turner on TV last night and she is 69 years old, I was blown away on how young she looks for her age.

man, if my grandfather lives 15 more years im going to go crazy... he is 91 currently and other than very very slight memory loss and much larger hearing loss, he has a very good bill of health.

good genes. happy for you guys.

Sounds like she was pretty healthy, walking around and even pushing other people in wheelchairs. Thats not a bad condition to be in, but if I couldn't be active I wouldn't want to be around for 100+ years.

Think about everything she saw?

World Wars
Great Depression
Cars
TV
Planes
Computers
Womens Rights
Civil Rights
The steroid era in baseball!

She saw everything from the roaring 20's to the psychedelic 70's to the tech age of the 90's and 00's.

Amazing.

She saw it alright... not sure if she "lived" the last 40 years of it though.

Thats what I was thinking about. She was born in 1893, She was around when the civil war was recent, she was around to see (and remember) the start and end of 2 world wars... Simply amazing.
