WTF? Did I just stumble in to General Hardware? Hasn't this been out for a while?

No you haven't. Next question.

Where can I find a clickless mouse? Something that doesn't have a click when you press a button.

Listening to someone play a FPS with click, click, click gets a little irritating.

They've been avaliable for that long for sure. I've played with them at the store myself. This isn't brand new by any stretch.

Not sure if I like the shape... never been a fan of thumb buttons either (but I'm sure it can be disabled)

I don't think my 10 yr old nephew would really take to that idea.

I love the thumb buttons, going back pages, and formard pages with one click of the thumb is a lot easier once you get used to it.

BTW: This has been out for a while.

Yeah, I know, but I answered his question. I might not be right, but I did answer it. :p

Actually, it's still only 800 dpi.

And the mouse is a piece of garbage, actually. They slapped a laser on it since everyone knows "lasers are cool" and it sells as a gimmick.

Check out the general hardware thread on this mouse. Let's see, how did he put it - "Don't buy this beta product!"

LOL - the Razer Diamondback pwns it every way. Twice the DPI, 33% more data throughput, 10 times the response rate, etc.

MX1000 = gimmick.

cnet seems to think it was released in September, well over 2 months ago.

Wrong forum too.

I'm not saying it wasn't available, but he asked a question. Not sure why it was a question, but it was.

Am I really the only one who noticed the inappropriate question mark?

Ok. I thought you were saying no you haven't because it hasn't been available.

I interpreted his question mark as in the "i've had this for 2 months, why are you talking about this now. are you an idiot?" kinda question mark.
