World's fastest BMW

Wikipedia has the 2006 M6 clocked in at around 4.3 seconds, beating the 4.4 shit. But damn, 750bhp and 4.4 seconds?

Twin supercharged? Where is all that fucking power going?

Edit: Road and Track has been able to get their M6 to go 0-60 in 3.8 seconds.

Not at all surprising considering BMW is very conservative with their 0-60 numbers.

It most likely can't hook up. The ZR-1 would be faster 0-60 if it could hook up better as would many cars. 0-60 isn't the final word in a car's performance but I do agree that it's ugly and needs some more torque.

you know, it's amazing how much I love the rear of the 6-series... and absolutely despise the front end with the sleepy lights and round face.

😕

590lb-ft (800Nm) of torque

Umm yea.......for how heavy it is and the amount of torque vs hp it's not that much compared to many other cars.

It looks like it's sad

Looks like the BMW version of a Brabus Mercedes. Ridiculous amounts of HP, but completely useless because only a small fraction of it can be put the ground.

It's conserative and about putting power to the actual ground without spinning like a mofo...

The M6 is also pretty f0cking heavy...

Wtf? Although M6's are heavy, but...that heavy?

gearing for economy and top end?

4.4 secs is amazingly quick, quicker than most drivers can handle safely.

Looks more like that Chrysler POS thing from a few years back. Forget it's name.

That Chrysler POS was a Mercedes with just a different skin. It was a good car and the SRT-6 version was a beast.

It's gearing for 11 mpg economy. 🙂
