I posted this in the games section too but there is a long, long, wait for replies there. I thought I would post the same thing here since so many of us hang out in here. The Post:

I did a search but found nothing here, so if it is a repost, sorry.

I would like to know dimensions of a standard map like Utah Beach or the like, I need to set up dimensions for a new map and I dont know how big to make it. I don't want to make it too big or the poly count will get too high, but I want to make it large enough to be fun and challenging.

Wrong place to ask lol.

Try a more gaming/halflife oriented fourm. Mabey counter-strike.com's forums or look around for some DOD sites.
 
I think I have been to every site, I got the message

"You have reached the end of the internet, please hit your BACK button."

I found dimensions about min heights to get into things, max jumping distances,etc. But I am having a hard time finding anything about a starting map size. That is all I really need.
