World War Z

One of my favorite book. This should be made into TV series.
Any attempt to make this into a movie will fail.

fak, exactly what I was going to post 😉

Day by Day Armageddon is definitely my favorite zombie book and head and shoulders above World War Z

It is kind of a toss up for me. They both were excellent books that I enjoyed reading immensely. Day by day's journal style more intense because you never knew if they were going to make it, whereas WWZ was told after the fact, so things were a bit more predictable. Still both excellent reads.

Also liked, though not as much, The Morningstar Strain Saga.

I could see WWZ making a far better movie (franchise?) than tv series.

it's been awhile since I've read it, but didn't it jump around to multiple people and never really revisit the same characters twice?

Yeah. Some characters are revisted (marine) and some are not (Brazilian Surgeon).
If they make it into a movie, I'll still watch it... with low expectations.

I think WWZ has the potential to be the greatest Zombie flick ever, if it's done right....

To me, done right for a story of this scale would be a 3+ hour long drama, or, a miniseries with like 6-12 hours worth of content sort of like Band of Brothers...

Exactly how I picture it. Done more as a BoB style story that spans 10-12 episodes.
