China has the most troops of anyone in the world (by a long shot because of population) and they are physically connected to all of asia, Europe, and africa. They could take over that part of the world without too much trouble and cut off the U.S. supplies.
How good are U.S. weapons of war after a decade of oil being cut off?

Federal oil reserves exist for this very reason. It'd be a problem, but not an insurmountable one. Canada would drill more. The U.S. would drill more. And we still have South America closeby and accessible for oil purposes.

The U.S.S.R. thought numbers were the key to victory in all things military too. It's a big thing, but it's far from everything. Where would China invade in Asia that wouldn't lead to one HUGE logistical nightmare leading from the border of China to wherever they decide to go? Besides, the Russians would never stand for China deciding to become expansionist because they know they'd come up on the agenda sooner or later. Not to mention India, the UK and most of the EU going on full alert. Ain't gonna work.

It would be a very nasty stalemate.

First off we would sink a mojority of there ships. Even invadeing through Alaska. they would want to hit from both oceans. maybe up from Mexico.

either way if you were to Attack the US. Many people would help out. i think it would be a nasty war. but i think it would end in a stalemate. Hate to even guess the casualty rate on something like this.

Oh anyone that discounts Canada's army is silly. They may not be a powerfull nation but NEVER discount the fact that they would be be defendint there homeland.

China has the most troops of anyone in the world (by a long shot because of population) and they are physically connected to all of asia, Europe, and africa. They could take over that part of the world without too much trouble and cut off the U.S. supplies.
How good are U.S. weapons of war after a decade of oil being cut off?

assuming we'd sit idly by as they marched into the middle east. we've already got troops there. we have a head start if anything threatens the oil.

It is also worth mentioning that we control the only system of GPS sattelites. We grant other countries the use of them but I'm sure that can be revoked. The EU and Chinese could not use guided weapons, and that would be a huge problem.
