I personally support a Military base equipped with the most powerful weapons in the military. After seeing Cloverfield, I seriously doubt the effectiveness of our anti monster forces.

I was just in NY (2 weeks ago) and they have a plan in place to NOT rebuild. I think the new plan (http://www.wtcsitememorial.org/fin7.html) keeps in mind that to some, it's a graveyard. It's tasteful and a good memorial for the sacrifices of the innocent that were victims there.

There are already buildings under construction on the site, one of them was at least 40 stories already last I looked, it wasn't in one of the "twin tower" locations, but instead one of the other buildings that fell down later (or maybe was torn down because of damage), but still, the point is that there are ALREADY several buildings under construction there unfortunately the ONE that matters (AKA: freedom tower) is not yet gotten off the ground because of the issues with the site (IE: they are STILL finding bodies when doing the digging).
