THATS NICE but it comes as know surprize to me since I have been researching the subject for some time now. But I truely believe that in the end the performance of dual cpu with 3.6 nacona's well be the hot setup . by the time custormers really start buying it well be 3.8.GHz nacona,s. How about those AMD people they just won't let go .Intel is King they were never dethroned period the Amd FX has already been tested with SLI and actually did Quit well but they came up short. and some here suggested that you can't compare a FX 55 to a Xeon I don't know why isn't a FX55 really an opty. INTEL THEY JUST KEEP COMING AT YOU

pwned

That would be acceptable to get SLI, except that nForce4 SLI chipsets (AMD only) provide fully 30% better graphics performance on SLI than Tumwater. We used a Tumwater based system to first show off SLI to PC Magazine. It won Editor's Choice, but by the time the issue hit the streets nForce 4 SLI has made Tumwater look like an antique.

YA your right but the lasest chipset from intel IS 30% faster than Tumwater and the next geration to be released in 1st quarter 05 is 60% faster than tumwater. When was Tumwater first released its old baby.SO your saying that nvidia's setup is going to be 30% slower than intels next release that should give ATI something to work with. ATI' current chipset for Intel is also 30% faster than Tumwater. You have to remeber tumwater was the first release of PCI -E And it was slow and designed for servers. AS I stated befor the 1st generation of anthing has lots of room for improvement.

He's way too hyped to be on pot. I'm betting on equal parts whiskey and PCP.

It was you guys that said that Intel has nothing for AMD. Toms hardware says with Intels layest release there tied . Thats 1 review wait till the good reviewers get there hands on intels latest' So far the 2 reviewers I have read I don't trust either one both are always tring to sell products.

I don't know, I'm not really impressed with every "broken barrier" axiom. Ya its fun to watch, but its almost the same as me watching Donald Trump's Stocks rise. In the end, its just money and who can buy the best system.

now you are saying that the chips are tied in performance....which one is it?? do intel kick AMD's ass or not...make up your mind
