What a great game. That is, it sucks, but it's great... But it still sucks... But it's an awesome game. Why am I even playing this piece of crap? But it's really good though.
Yeah. It's one of those games. It can be both really dull, or exciting.
What's special about it, is that it actually got me interested for the first time in a long time. I am sick and tired of PC games. Tired of Diablo 3 with it's myriad patches and seasons which are cool, but overall the game is still garbage. Tired of constant stream of Battlefield, Call of Duty and Assassins Creed games.... Tired of repetitive, generic, derivative and mediocre.
World of Warships, is something fresh. Something new. There was never anything quite like it before. It is truly exhilarating to be duking it out on the open seas, knowing you can die at any second, yet manage to unleash a torpedo salvo right in the side of a Battleship, right before I myself succumb to flames and slowly sink into the abyss...
I don't care at all for World of Tanks. Never even had a desire to try it! But the naval battles managed to appeal to me. I guess there is a sailor in me that never happened, or never had the balls to enlist.
Whatever the case may be, the game is beautiful, diverse, and offers a ton of choices when something gets dull.
And did I mention it's FREE?!
Sure you can get a premium account, but all it does is give you access to stuff faster. But where do you want to rush? If you get access to everything right away, there's nothing left to strive for. Take it easy and enjoy the game. The beauty of it is that it's enjoyable at any level whether you are just starting out or a seasoned seawolf.
