World of Warcraft

Gnome Mage for me. I've always liked mages, even though from playing and reading, they seem to be one of the weakest classes in the game.

Was a dwarf paladin in the 1st closed beta before all the changes and was a orc warrior in the open beta.

Probly going for Tauren warrior in retail since friends playing on horde side on the pvp server and you can't have both factions on the same account on a pvp server.

Plus the taurens racial bonuses make the best warrior on the horde side.

Interesting. What's the reason behind this? I've never been much of a PvP gamer, so enlighten me. 🙂

Not sure if it works like that for normal servers but for pvp servers this would allow you to listen to raid plans on the other side before switching to your other faction and knowing where they will be.

Though you can just buy 2 games and get around this but then you are paying for this ability. 😀

I like the Tauren Hunter myself...

That is what I played in the stress test/open beta and I will play it again.

i've only tried open beta... never got a chance to raid.. but got killed plenty of times by lvl 24 undead rouges in 2 hits.. =T

i'm thinking warrrior for damage and attack skills
and paladin for just being a TANK. but paladin doesn't seem to have any worthwhile damaging moves.

Human for sure unless another class has a benefit of one of the two I haven't decided on, Mage or Warlock.

I played a Human Paladin, Undead Warlock, Tauren Hunter, Night Elf Warrior, and Troll Shaman. I think I'd like to play the Paladin again the most, but I'd be up for just about anything.

Human Rogue or Paladin... not sure
I hope the ATOT guild comes together so we can pick who will specialize in what for trade skills.
Designated crafters to help each other out etc...

Funny you should say that, as I was killed by a lvl 24 rogue in pretty much the same fashion.

I was a lvl 20-21 undead warlock and I sacrified my voidwalker so that I would get the shield that absorbs ~350 damage. I was dead in less than two seconds. I think he did 600+ damage to me in that amount of time.

haha... yea those high lvls are killer... have you seen those screenshots of last day of beta... wish i was in that

I haven't decided if I am going to buy it yet (I didn't get in on the Beta so I'm probably going to wait for reviews), but if I do either a Dwarf Hunter or a Orc Warrior sound appealing to me.

if you like mmorpg, this is a great game. The only reason i hear people wont get the game is cause they seem to can't afford $15 a month.. or they don't have the time to spend on a mmorpg

Well, I haven't actually played ANY mmorpg's... but RPG's is one of my favourite (perhaps my favourite) genres.

edit: oh, and the $15/month doesn't bother me if it is good.
