Blizzard employees have stated in forums ran on Vivendi's servers that it is not. If thats not something court-worthy, I don't know what it. I hate Vivendi with a passion. I'm willing to put up $20,000 of my money for a devilish attorney to start a case. I'd love a chance to take a $3 million chunk out of thier corrupt hides.

Negro = black
Avatar = black

What's incorrect?

I see nothing wrong with their decision.

sounds like using this keyboard allows him to do more than he could by using a regular keyboard. normally i don't think you could do all those actions with 1 keystroke, but i could be wrong. thats probably what did it.

its probably better for the guy. sounds like his life is consumed by WoW.

I play in a pretty hardcore WoW guild that moved over from EverQuest and my personal opinion that the customer service provided by Blizzard is nothing short of the most craptastic failure I have ever experienced. Great game, awful company - in my opinion.

When you think about it, it IS giving an advantage to a player that isn't a part of the game, especially if it lets them cast magic,change weapons faster or something, but on the same token, so would having a faster computer or a better internet connection.

It is seriously funny how many people are into the game though. I am sure it is loads of fun, but there is just so much you can do before it gets pathetic.

In this case I'd like to know exactly what extend his macros had. If he indeed had time to switch to his TV screen while still running a macro it wasn't just one for 'switching weapons' I'd assume. And if it was a macro to fight a monster, kill it, loot it, and sort the loot then he basically had a small bot, just one which requires more interaction than a full one.

DO NOT mention you are thinking about legal action. Doing so will force Blizzard to let their legal team handle it and trust me, legal is the black hole of any company. You SHOULD however threaten to lodge a complaint with the US BBB (since that is where Blizzard is based) and/or with the European Better Business Bureau equivalent.

I know this info is for the other side of the pond, but maybe it will help:

Blizzard Entertainment
P.O. Box 18979
Irvine, CA 92623

Phone: 949-955-1380
Fax: 949-737-2000

? Michael (Mike) Morhaime: President
? Paul Sams: SVP, Business Operations
? Julia Gastaldi: Director of Communications and Community, Europe (Call her if no luck with Jeffery below)

Contact: Jeffery Smith - Customer Service Manager (Best place to start!)
Phone: (949) 955-1382

# (800) 592-5499 (not sure where this number goes to)

So for cliffs:
- Generate a complete detail of your plight that looks professional and fits on a single page
- Contact Jeffery Smith and if you cannot get him contact Julia Gastaldi
- DO NOT mention legal but threaten BBB/EU Equiv.

Good luck!

You should e-mail that to the person who wrote that page. Might be helpful in his cause.
