World of Warcraft is live!

Which CE Pet is the best looking ingame? For those who have bought CE and are playing right now. I just bought mine during my lunch break, I'm eyeing the clock waiting for time to go home, but he clock seems to be going backwards.
 
just got home with it... went to best buy and didnt see it (the ce version) i was gonna go insane... luckily there were 7 more in the back... right after me 2 others got it and another employee was picking it up.. leaving 3 more lol

so glad i didnt stop by after work... or else it would have been gone

 
I'm so disappointed they're charging this much for it. When I first heard about WoW I thought Blizzard may actually take a step forward and just charge like 100 or 150 upfront and then you wouldn't have to pay a monthly fee. Tis disappointing...
 
Just a personal opinion, I prefer the monthly fee over a high flat fee. If I stop enjoying the game or run out of time, I would stop my subscription. Having a monthly fee also adds an incentive for Blizzard to continue keeping the game in tip-top shape. Fixing bugs immediately or risk losing customers right off the bat. Plus it keeps immature griefers from ruining gaming experiences since most immature griefers require their mom or dad's credit cards to pay to play these games.

SoldatRU, I can kinda see how you would be disappointed by jackasses messing things up for you, but isn't there a way you can report them and get them banned? I mean yeah they're stopping the kids from playing but at the same time they're stopping the older kids such as myself (16) who can't get a job but just want to enjoy the game as well. If GW is successful, hopefully we see more games that come out like that.

That's true, but if you can pay a lot more like 100-150 as you suggested earlier, why not buy the game for 50 dollars which comes with 1 month free, then buy 100 dollars worth of time cards. That's about 6 months right there. Though yeah it does suck for regular mature kids who don't have jobs yet, perhaps an arrangement can be made with your parents or something. *shrug*
 
For the sake of my grades, I won't be picking this up until around Dec 10th (end of exams) ... perhaps later. The OB was my first experience with a MMORPG, and I enjoyed it.

Just curious ... how's the performance so far of the servers? Is there much lag since most people are concentrated in the "noob" areas?
