world of warcraft install problem

So i downloaded world of warcraft from blizzard's site, when i try to install it stops at 3% and a common.mpq error pops up saying it cant read the file, then the install closes. any ideas?

no idea man, see if the install FAQ has something for you, never did the web DL install but i know peopel were having issues yesterday with the latest patch quiting out on them like that

Have you tried redownloading the game?

yeah i tried redownloading it, i dont have the original cds on me now i can get them later and try that. and i checked the faq nothing. thanks

straight from blizzard saving it in a folder

That's how I originally installed it, downloaded from their site and I had no issues. If you have already setup your account you an post on their forums.

This problem does not sound WoW related unless something new occurred since the 2.3 patch. Definitely post a forum topic on their site.

could be, installing net 2.0 wont really hurt anthing
