nice - but do you need to buy the retail game after the trial, or just start paying the monthly fee?

On the page where it has your beta key it says to continue playing you have to buy a retail copy. Gosh Darnit.

I'll do the trial, but this is the season when all the good games come out. In my opinion, there's just too much else to play to justify a monthly fee game.

EDIT: I don't know how it came across but didn't mean to sound whiny before. Thanks OP, looking forward to trying it out.

Im still downloading the World_of_Warcraft_install.zip file and the size has just passed 1GB !!!!!!!!! Yes 1000mbs and STILL downloading.

On the bright side of thing the servers a blazing FAST. I have optimum online and im downloading at almost 1 meg a second.
 
Gonna give it a shot. Blizzard better be planning to send a hooker over if they want me to cough up 50 bucks for a client and 15/month. But thousands of other addicts can't be wrong, can they?
