Oh for the record, on my stable 3800 x2 I'm using massively out of date mods. Stuff about 3-4 versions back, only thing up to date is ctraidassist. I don't think old mods do much damage.

I feel your pain. I had this problem for a few months when I first played WoW and blamed it on Blizzard. It was faulty memory. In reality, WoW should not crash like that, it should be more graceful because everything else on my system ran perfectly fine.
