you seem to be new..it might be helpful if you provided a link (if you have one) and also put after MIR in the title or else people will get upset
 
The weekly ad says it is $19.99 "After $10 Price Break & $20 Instant Savings", no mention of a MIR. Doesn't look like it is available online, so no link. I may finally pick this game up, thanks OP.

That promo is over even though the page is still up. Also, it was just a 14 day trial. Once it expired, you had to buy the full retail copy to get the authentification key to unlock it. But with the retail purchase, you also get 30 free days to play.

That's how I got hooked.

And this is why i have not bought it or even played it....With the 210 CD wallet I have full of games, WoW is not in it. I have a job, and need to keep it.
 
yeah one of my buddies became a total recluse after buying it. oh yeah, he still comes out drinking once in awhile, but that's about it. and he's got a crappy ibook with a terrible 9700 graphics card. so if he's willing to spend hours looking at a slide show...

As for requirements:

I play WoW on an AMD 2200+, GeForce3 Ti200, and have no complaints. sure, it lags when entering the Ironforge main area, but no big deal. 1GB RAM and a cable modem are good.
 
sweet game, i just dont see how people get addicted to it so much as to lose friends, jobs, etc. i mean i like playing but damn...if i didn't have friends to play with i'd have probably already gotten bored of it by now.

Whoa, did'nt realize this was a real issue. I'm amazed with WoW, but after 2 weeks of online gaming, it got a little boring. I'm still a paid member but haven't played in almost a month. To busy with the real world 🙂

Hope the folks in OLGA come out okay...
