Why not complain instead of wasting more money to Blizzard?
Such as a full refund?
You can get the game from outpost.com for only $35 shipped right now.
That is cheaper than ur $10 fee + WoW + shipping.

Well, its out of stock and I get taxed by outpost. I paid $25 shipped for it and blizzard wants $10 for the replacement key so it will come out a couple of dollars cheaper than buying it at outpost. Thanks for the suggestion tho!

EDIT

I added WoW to my cart at outpost.com and the price was $49.99. It did have the $49.99 price slashed and said add to cart to see special price so I think the deal might be dead.

I hope blizzard disables the key code that I send in! I will suggest to them that they disable the key code so the theif loses his/her character(s)/hours of playing!

Odd, I was under the impression that if the game was bought less than 30 days ago and you have a receipt, you didn't have to pay the $10 for cd key replacement.

That's correct but we're talking about consumer depot(openbox/new). I rather pay the $10 fee and be hassle free.

Hmmm... I noticed there were close to 100 copies available at CD when I first read this thread. EF9 seems to be the only one who had a key aleady in use? 1-in-100 is probably about par for the corse of CD key theft... That's pretty amazing! I wonder where CD came across these copies of WoW?

Looks like some of them are from Best Buy, as the yellow tag is still on them, yet the price is marked out with a black marker. I sent this link to a couple of my friends who were wanting to pick it up cheaply. 4 of them bought a total of 7 copies, and, to my amazement, the keys all worked. 2 of them had scratched discs, but they had other copies to use, so, other than that, they faired, ok. This is definitely a gamble. It all goes back to getting what you paid for. I ordered 2 more copies yesterday, they showed 9 available yesterday morning, 3 when I ordered around noon, and I checked today, and they are back up to 16 available. I do have to admit, shipping was way cheap....... $4 for 2 copies, fedex saver.

I concur. My bass fishing addiction should have kicked in to full swing by now, but I've only gone a few times. I forget what the command is to see how much time you've logged into the game, and I'm scared to look it up. Only buy this game if you have no life, or don't plan on having one for a while! 🙂

WoW is great until your main char reaches level 60 and you wait 2 months for blizzard to fix a bug with your character's first aid not going past 225. They still have yet to fix this since they just respond with the usual "we know of this bug but don't care about you the consumer, so we're not fixing it."

I would say that the best feature is that on Tuesdays at 6AM, WoW allows you to have some sort of a life. For a few hours...

Nice game, but I have been amazingly restrained so far, with only about 2 -3 hrs a week invested so far. Fun stuff.

I got 2 copies, and the only problem was the boxes were damaged. contents were perfect, even included the 10 day trial keys. So far, we have bought 12 copies, no issues other than 2 scratched discs.

I have a problem with mine. I received the game and the CD-key was missing from the box, ripped right off the front of the CD holder. I've emailed their customer service, now we get to see what they'll actually do in this case.

same here, who do we contact for this?

This place has really good customer service. They said that they'd send me a whole new copy and didn't request the other one be returned first.

I ha dthe same experience. I ordered 4 copies for myself and friends. Aside from the boxes being banged up, everything was fine. I ran into an issue with one copy, which was missing the reg code and the cd key. Emailed customer service, and got the same reply. They are sending out another copy, and didn't request the old one back.

As far as how to reach them, try the customer service link on their site -

I just picked returns questions. Good luck. And Thanks OP for the deal!

I tried my luck, based on the good experiences others have had, but unfortunately it looks like I got burned. I got a bad key, and they want me to send it back for RMA. So much for the savings and quick shipping. I emailed them, requesting that we verify a valid key and that they merely ship me the outer cd sleeve that has a valid Auth. Key. I will update if I get a reply... if not I'm gonna try to go through Blizzard, since after doing an RMA, there's a chance I'd get another bad key from them.

Recevied my copy yesterday and got a bad CD key, I emailed them last night and they replied this morning saying I can go through blizzard and get another CD key for free. After calling Blizzard it seems I have to mail them the sleeve and a money order for $10 and I'll get a replacement. I've emailed Consumer Depot asking for another copy sent to me and I'll send this one back once its been verified working. Now I play the waiting game. Someone stated a "stolen CD key" method to go through to resolve this but I havent seen this anywhere on Blizzards site or off of Google doing a search.... if anyone has any info please share 🙂
