Yeah, I know. Giambi, A-Rod, and Jeter all make more individually than the entire Florida Marlins team. Ridiculous. Baseball needs a salary cap.

Yes, I love the sport, but it needs be fixed.
 
baseball does have a salary cap sort of. MLB makes the teams pay some kind of luxry tax if their payroll is over a certain amount. I believe they put this into effect in the late 90's. Owners like George Steinbrenner just make so much money that they don't care about paying the tax.
 
Yankees suck ass. They can't even win a championship w/ the highest payroll in all of baseball. Let's bring in a real salary cap like other major sports.
