World Net Daily should be condemning the Game of Life for being a terrible, terrible game. Children could be playing much more intellectually stimulating games.

*shrugs* kids have to learn early that being gay is just a normal thing for a lot of people. Learning it early makes it less likely they'll grow up to be intolerant.

"Intellectualy stimulating" and "World Net Daily" are a contradiction of terms. The only "fruits" they're qualified to discuss are the fruit loops that comprise their readership.

Well, I see ads to a book named "You can lead an atheist to evidence but you can't make him think" and Ann Coulter's new book, so WND is clearly a website geared towards nutjobs and I'm not surprised.

I also noticed that link to the anti-atheist book. Here's a excerpt from the WND page for that book:

"You Can Lead an Atheist to Evidence, But You Can't Make Him Think" not only gives empirical evidence for the existence of God, it shows atheists that they desperately need His forgiveness. Using a lively Q&A format, featuring actual questions from atheists sent to Pastor Comfort's blog at Atheist Central, "You Can Lead An Atheist to Evidence, But You Can't Make Him Think" shows that God's existence can be proven, and that anyone can do it!

Do you see the absurdity in that paragraph? If the title of the book means anything, then there's no way to show an atheist that they're wrong. Yet if that's true, then what's the point of the book?

Suppose the book does indeed "show that God's existence can be proven." Yeah? Well, clearly an atheist isn't going to be convinced, since "you can't make them think." And a true believer doesn't need convincing.

So who is this book written for? Am I the only one who sees not only the contradiction but also the deep irony in the book's title and its subject matter?

from the WND link:
The redesign also included car game pieces that could be filled with plastic pegs representing a player's growing "family." The board game did not prevent players in any way from placing two pink or two blue pegs in the front seat, thus depicting a homosexual couple.

The horror.

Didn't take long for same-sex marriage to turn into bestiality did it?

It's logically indefensible so people must resort to ridiculous slippery slope or religious arguments.

lol...I'm not sure I understand your point...are you saying that a board game should make someone not be able to choose whether they'd prefer to place a pink peg next to your pink peg?

The logic is pretty simple actually. Both practices are deviant (the analogy) to our clear design and nature, at least imho. I guess fucking trees with warm sap is another analogy. You can do it if you want, but that's not really how we were designed.

No, not at all. Just like the choice is there in real life, it shouldn't be any less of a choice in the game. But I should also have the option to put me (blue peg) in the back seat of another player's car with his pink peg while he is trying to make money in the game. Or I should also have the option to hold up his family's car, rob, rape, and pillage, and get farther in the game without repurcussions.
