I live about 18 miles from it, so I go there once a month or so.

I usually only go there to watch movies at Silvercity. The best movie theatre I've ever been to by far. Practically freaking loungechairs to watch movies in. Expensive though, of course.

Every single store in there is overpriced, because the rent in there is outrageous.

Fantasyland (or is it Galaxyland?) is quite nice, but the waterpark is better. But that is also starting to show its age. The waterpark is EXTREMELY crowded all the way through the summer...

They are continually making it bigger and renovating the old areas so I don't think the age will ever be too bad.

ah those were the days, cargo net maze thingies that would go up 3 stories, looking down was a tad freaky;) 3-4? story tall plastic pipe slides, and the wonderful static shock at the bottom:) and a bunch of rides. talk about excellent day care while ur parents go off and shop. nothing close to that in california:p

the wave pools in some of those canadien malls back then were kewl too.

The Mall of America is doubling in size, apparently it wasn't big enough for the 35 million people that visit ever year.

King of Prussia Mall in the Philly suburbs anyone? It was considered big when it got it's addition about 6-7 years ago now, I guess... I think at that time I remember hearing it was the 3rd biggest, but I'm not sure in terms of what (# of shops, area...). But hearing about these parks with wavepools, 26 screen theatres and hotels right inside of them make KoP seem tiny.

I go to the Palisades Center Mall alot but I wouldn't consider it that big.

It is my favorite mall though because I think it is more a guy's mall than a woman's mall. You've got CompUSA, Best Buy, Circuit City, Dave & Buster's, NASCAR, roller coasters, ferris wheels, etc. instead of Nieman Marcus and Fendi.

destiNY USA is in the local papers a lot...unfortunately I don't care enough to read the articles. ;) I think they'll be breaking ground relatively soon, within a year I think. It was a big topic of discussion around here actually. I think one of the only articles I read on it was that they are going to make it a Green Building or something like that, meaning that it will be very environmentally friendly. The air inside will be cleaner than outside (filters on the ventilation), no fossil fuels used in powering anything in the mall, etc. Impressive, but for some reason I don't see it happening...I hope it does, but I'm not holding my breath.

I think the largest mall I ever went to was in Arizona either Scottsdale or Tempe or Phoenix.

Quick! get to the Mall of America, before it's not the largest "Mall of America!"

I've heard of expansion plans, but I don't know when it's going to happen. There is a good amount of vacant land on two of the four sides of the MOA, so doubling the current size is a certain physical possibility.

I've been to West Edmonton Mall!

I thought that some of the larger malls in Ontario like Square One or the Toronto Eaton Centre were big, but the WEM puts them all to shame.

I tried using some big stores as landmarks to guide me, but the big chains have MULTIPLE stores in the mall. It can be pretty difficult to navigate, but it was a fun experience nonetheless.

Damn, I was hoping you'd say they suck.

There was a Claim Jumpers near that huge ass mall I saw, it was like a big square and had a 24 screen Hawkin's theatre inside of it.

My friend and I were talking about eating at Claim Jumpers but ran out of time, oh well maybe next time.
