600 000 000 people. How are they going to spread the word to that many, I thought only approx. 300 million people in the world have access to the internet.

47.3% of all statistics are made up on the spot. :p

Some years back, China organized a jump day to throw the earth into a new orbit that would mess up the U.S. Luckily, the CIA caught wind and a massive counter-jump was organized to occur at the exact same time to nullify the effects.*

Besides, people live all over the world. All over the round world. If people in one spot jump, and people on the other side of the world jump, wouldn't they cancel eachother out? :p

You forget that logic doesn't apply to idiocy.

lol :) reminds me of a line from the old live-action Flintstones film. Fred and Barney just got off of work, and are walking out of the gravel pit

[Fred] I'm only one man, Barn!
[Barney] Not from back here you're not!

Yes, they do cancel each other out. That's how disaster was averted in the WWN article.

It would be a real problem if this wasn't planned all over the world; we really would go off our orbit. But since it'll happen everywhere, we're safe. Phew! (Don't tell the organizers - they might alter the plan and doom us all!)

Well, considering their "reasons" for doing it, I'm willing to bet they're a bunch of pot smoking tree huggers. Too stoned to worry about it until it's too late :p

If all of them were on the same hemi-sphere they would only divert the path of the earth only while they were in the air.

Curse you and your "logic" and "reason"! Curse you to hell!
