rts with some fps characteristics. You pick a role or in fps terms a class. Then you try to perform that role as best as possible.

Roles are

Infantry
Armor
Air
Support

I play infantry and some support.

there's nothing FPS about it - its a complete RTS but instead of commanding every single type of unit, you command a certain type, like infantry only, aircraft only, etc. Other players command the other types of units.

FPS charateristic as in the class role. That is an FPS characteristic.
