This is driving me crazy. I have to click each tank or Bradley and tell it to use its special attack? Why is there no "special attack at will" option? Is there a mod that solves this?

Ground based heavy AA is too strong.
i just got this game a month ago and have played maybe about 15 horus so far, but someone i know who has played it for awhile says one of the latest patches made ground AA too strong.
i do wish the repair tank automatically did its thing but thats it.
why do you want, say, your HEAT missiles to automatically shoot at the first vehicle that goes by? first of all they suck against heavy tanks. second, if you have some medium & light enemy tanks, a transport truck and an AA vehicle, you should not want the AI to pick who it shoots, you should be prioritizing your target to kill the best target at the time.
second of all, since this game doesn thave resource management and you can only really buy say 6 tanks total or 6 choppers total, what the heck is left for you to do besides tell them to move somewhere if you arent shooting their special guns? another thing is part of the skill is knowing when to pop off say your flares as a chopper. that is a skill, to pay attention to your surroundings and use your tools with timing and wisely.
since this is more like a real time tactical strategy game, poppin off your special weapons at who you want them to hit is half the fun.
man you guys are lazy lol
I agree with most of that except the heavy AA being to strong. It regularly gets destroyed by heavy tanks and infantry as it's pretty weak and has nothing to counter ground units.

Just got this game and I must say the graphics are effing awesome.
Only have about 3 hrs logged so far (2.5 hrs SP campaign, 30 mins MP) and I'm still fighting the camera control a bit. Got my ass handed to me online but it was still damn fun anyways.
The main annoyance for me is the lack of ability to save at will in the SP campaign. I got run over on like the 3rd board...can't remember the name and now have to replay the whole thing again for the third time. They couldn't make a simple quicksave?

It's part of the game, you don't have THAT many units to worry about.
If you bind say a group of heavy tanks, while all are selected and you order one special attack (E button) then only one tank will try and fire, not all 4.
Now I wish I had access to my gaming computer, I'd love to go and call in a triple carpet bombing just because.
My bad EC. Typical of me to just jump right in, not even bothering to look at the instruction manual or the quick guide on the back. Had a blond moment too by not even noticing the "SAVE" button in the ESC menu the first time I played, lol. Braindead I guess.Originally posted by: EvilComputer92
I don't know what your talking about because you can save at any time in the single player campaign even during a mission.
