they're all supposed to be in high def.
do you know which station is covering it?
ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 are covering it in the US. So you would likely need to have ABCHD, ESPNHD, and ESPN2HD to watch the games in HD.

i was running through the Lists of all the programs and there wasn't anything under "World Cup" in the W's section but i'll have to try again. prolly just being a complete dingbat and looked @ too early a date
ESPN2HD is the primary channel for the World Cup. There's a game on right now, if you're in front of the TV. ABCHD will show some games, primarily at night, I believe, and ESPN has just a couple, AFAIK.
Comcast has PERMANENTLY added ESPN2 to the HDTV lineup, which is great news 🙂.

Everyone I'm talking to nation-wide has gotten it added. I have ESPNHD on 202 as well, and ESPN2 is now on 203. I'm in Central Jersey.

I'm gonna get flamed for this, but Soccer is a sport one plays, not watch. Most of the hype I see surrounding international soccer is merely an excuse for excessive nationalism.
I used to be a hockey fan when I was a kid and played all the sports, but I soon outgrew that. While being at an NHL hockey game is a thrill, I have trouble quantifying the skills required to play the game as being that difficult. I'm sorry, but soccer is merely hockey played on grass.
I love professional or college basketball, or even tennis, but I'm sorry, I can't get into watching soccer and don't get the hype. It's like, American Football, but with only linebackers on each team, and you can only touch the ball with your feet.
looking at the US's performance, for you guys it will be over by next week!Originally posted by: edro

LOL. Most Americans are still a little ignorant.
