democracy doesn't mean sh!t, you guys really don't get it if Iran gets nuclear weapons there will be hope for peace in that region. Balance of power, no one will have an advantage because both will destroy each others if war breaks out. So in couple of years they will decide to end there stupid conflict and resolve it peacfully.

So democracies are more reserved with their militaries?...iraq and vietnam anyone?...seems to me that democracies can have nuts in power too. That point is totally irrelevant, why does isreal need nukes anyways?

I agree with Ozoned in the sense that there is no viable solution at the moment. But I have no idea what your reasons were for posting this if you had no intensions of discussing the logistics of who can and can't have nukes, and how to keep peace in the world.

If you are going to tell me that i am thick skulled because i do not support sanctions or military action, you are not open for discussion, you are open for propoganda and imposing your ideas on others...good luck with that, i dont think it is working due to your reputation on these forums.

I also agree with MegaWorks, there needs to be a balance of power in the middle east. As it stands they continuously get picked on when the exact same things are happening in asia and africa. Look at India and Pakistan, nuclear technology has allowed these two to survive peacefully for years. This is only a reactionary measure to Isreal having nukes.

I am in no way supporting nuclear development, but i am supporting global peace and by giving nukes to Isreal or allowing some nations to have nukes and some not just because the country may be weaker or less important is very twisted logic.
